Unfortunetly sharpness is not how i'd like it to be

Well.. maybe left side of photo (sky there) could be a bit darker, but if sun was more to the left (gidden behind bridge maybe?) then bottom part of bridge and probably also ground would be very dark (too dark?).

Few days ago i tried to make sharper photo, but without any result. Light was different (different colors) and city had less "fog"/"smog" around it. I tried a lot of combinations of different settings, but nothing helps. Camera accepted focus, but objects so far away are still blurred. I guess i will have to buy expensive camera for this shot to be sharper
